The challenge:
Our client Omnifab needed to fit out their industrial machining department with 14 technician workstations. Their wish, beyond resistant and industrial quality workstations, was to have the possibility of making modifications and adapting depending on their future needs.
They called on our industrial design expert to equip their mobile mechanic workshops to create custom storage for their tools and equipment in two trailers, while ensuring the equipment matches the brand colours.
The solution:
Our project manager Valérie Fiset thus designed the following solution; manufactured by our partner Rousseau and delivered by the experts at Pedlex.
14 workstations with :
- LED lights
- Two tool cabinets heavy duty (400lb capacity per drawer) 24"DX 34"H with drawer depth dividers and separators and central lock
- Two wall storage boxes 42"L x 14"D x 21"H with integrated sliding doors
- Computer/LCD monitor stands with double articulation
- All in one of the 20 standard colors from our partner Rousseau metal
Of the sturdy storage cabinets with :
- Sturdy drawers with one-at-a-time opening, 100% extension and central lock
- Custom drawers with top opening for storing tool boxes and easy access to tools
- High storage cabinets
- Besides the ergonomic workstations in the warehouse, the client needed a U-shaped checkout counter, which was designed with sturdy cabinets with above stainless steel, R and R heavy duty drawers sliding shelves .
The project was manufactured and delivered quickly thanks to our agreements with Quebec suppliers and our large inventory. We keep a large inventory of tool boxes, work tables, shelves and much more which allows us to respond quickly to your needs.
