If we told you that the company JLD-Laguë Laval had increased its storage capacity by 50%, would you be tempted to do the same?
Certainly!
Last fall, our project manager, Pier-Olivier Delisle, went into the field. He met with the director of the Parts Department at JLD-Laguë Laval, Mr. Richard Bisson. The latter's need was simple: to have more storage space for its Parts Department. So we replaced the current storage platform with a larger one. Suddenly, we had doubled its storage space!
Despite this great improvement, our project manager wanted to maximize the available space even more. So he suggested to his client a Rousseau Métal shelving system whose yellow color (in stock with us) would match one of the company's colors (yellow and natural green). And since we were replacing shelves that had little storage capacity and an aging structure, we might as well add a few more; the space was available and there was material to store. Wonderful!
Today, Mr. Richard Bisson is happy with the results, the space savings obtained and the productivity of his team. In a short time, Pedlex has made his space functional, refined, better lit and organized. This is what we call "moving to another level of efficiency"!
