
Rousseau Métal is a source of pride for the economic development of the Chaudière-Appalaches administrative region and for the entire province of Quebec. This year, the company is celebrating its 70th anniversary, but also it's daring to always aim higher to better serve its customers.

In 1950, Rousseau opened its doors. The company mainly manufactured postal equipment, toll tokens, electric meter boxes, cabinets, work tables (see fig. 1 and 2). In addition, there were five employees in its 15,000 square foot factory located in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli. The variety of products, the quality of the finish and the ergonomics of the furniture were different from what we know today.
Currently, more than 380 employees and two factories meet growing needs of the industrial market. And they meet it perfectly!
The name Rousseau is everywhere in Quebec and present across Canada, the United States and even beyond. From all around the globe, the name Rousseau attracts customers for innovation, sustainability, quality and flexibility of its systems disturbance.
