Opening a new store is always very stressful, both for the business owner and for the employees.

With its new optimized storage facilities, Traction Joliette was able to open its doors and serve its customers with confidence.

On March 18, the grand opening of a new heavy vehicle parts and accessories store took place: Traction Joliette. Traction is already well established in Quebec and across Canada. And now it is the turn of the people of Lanaudière to benefit from a complete range of their products.

But before opening its doors, a good deal of thought was required: what did the project manager have in mind? Before calling us, she knew exactly what she wanted. At the time of the meeting, she presented a photo (an example of a concept carried out elsewhere) to our specialist, Bernard Vézina. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, Mr. Vézina immediately oriented his thinking in the same direction as his client: maximize efficiency and optimize the available space. And that is what was done.

The use of Rousseau's " Spider " type stacked shelves allowed for the addition of a second level of shelves. Obviously, it was necessary to have free space in height, i.e. a ceiling more than sixteen feet from the ground. With this second level, the surface area had just been doubled without having to enlarge the building or rent a space. And by adding drawers to these shelves (with compartmentalization for small parts), even more space was recovered in order to make the storage truly optimal.

Plus, who says installations have to look depressing? Gone are the days when you were limited to one or two color choices. Today, there are so many to choose from, and you can easily create the desired effect. Here, avalanche blue and glossy yellow harmonize perfectly, and this bold duo creates a visual that stands out and will leave no one indifferent.

Finally, every project is a challenge and, according to Bernard Vézina, you have to be ready to take it on.

“Any change in space planning involves its share of difficulties and readjustments along the way, and with the person responsible for the implementation, the process was most harmonious. I was dealing with a very professional, well-organized lady who was able to make quick decisions. In any large project, the complicity between the client and the supplier is clearly a bonus. It was a privilege and a pleasure to work with a woman whose enthusiasm was contagious.

Not all clients have a clear vision of what they want. Not everyone has the fierce determination to achieve their goals. Often, our role is to help the client in this regard. During this project, the manager was able to demonstrate that she had guts and always pushed her questioning further and, at the same time, challenged us. And what a great challenge!

For his part, Mr. Simon Duchesneau, team leader of the installers, explains his concern during the installation: “The biggest challenge with a project like Traction Joliette is that it included several manufacturers. The challenge was therefore to successfully arrange all the products to obtain an impeccable result. Being located in a commercial sector, the visual result was also essential for both the client and us.”

This is another great achievement that we are proud of.

Now it's your turn to challenge us!
